Happy Birthday!

I had a wonderful 21st Birthday! I even got 2 birthday parties! The Sunday before my birthday my family got together. My mom made my favorite meal which was Hawaiian haystacks. Yummy! After dinner we had cookies and ice cream (I like cookies better than cake.) I was grateful to have the Blackson family and the Fawcett family over to join in on the celebration!

On my actual birthday I went out to dinner with my inlaws! I have the best inlaws! Michelle bought me a yummy cup cake so they could sing happy birthday to me (Thanks Michelle, I'm now addicted to those cup cakes!)

I'm so blessed to be able to be surrounded by family and friends! Thanks guys!

Valentines Day!

The night before Valentines day I was in the emergancy room because of a terrible sinus infection. For those of you who don't know, when I was 8 yrs. old I was hospitalized for a week and had 2 surgeries because of a sinus infection. So when I get sinus problems it is serious. The doctor told me I had to be on bed rest for a couple of days. I ruined all of Jeff's plans for valentines day. Since we couldn't go out he made me a candle light dinner. I couldn't taste it very well, but from what I could taste it was good. He also bought me roses and candy! He's the best!

Florida!

In January we were able to go to Orlando Florida! It was so much fun! We spent 5 days in Disney World and 2 days in Universal. It was nice to take a vacation and to get out of the cold weather. After spending a week in shorts we didn't want to come home!

We decided to go on the ride inside the epcot ball, during the ride they take your picture and then at the end of the ride they play a mini movie about your future. Jeff's picture cracked me up! I couldn't resist I had to post it!

While we were there we stopped in France and got some yummy pastries! (I think this is why Jeff likes epcot) :)

This was my first time at Universal Studios. It was lots of fun! They have a lot of really cool rides! The highlight of the day was when I convinced my sweet mother in law to ride the "Return of the Mummy" ride. She didn't like it but she was a good sport about it!

Jenni is not a good person to have around in an emergency she screams while watching the shark chew on my head!

HARRY POTTER WORLD!!!! This was the highlight of the trip!! It was amazing how real everything looked!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

So much has happened this last year! I married my best friend, gained another family, moved out, learned to pay bills, learned how to grocery shop, learned that grocery shopping can be expensive, learned how to make dinners (Thanks Mom and Jamie for many help me phone calls), changed jobs twice, took my husband to the E.R., learned that medical bills suck, bought a car, made my first loan payment, and I gained a deeper testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. What an exciting year! We are so grateful for our blessings and we are excited to see what this new year will bring!

Christmas

We had wonderful Christmas! It was full of lots of surprises! Jeff surprised me with a wii! For those of you who don't know I love the wii and have wanted one for awhile. I'm not really a gamer but I love the games on the wii because I'm actually good at them. Okay, maybe not all the games but I really like the sports games and the wii fit games. I surprised Jeff with a Shake Weight! One night we came across the infomercial for the shake weight and thought that it was funny. A few weeks later we saw a commercial again and Jeff jokingly said, "I want that for Christmas." He knew everything else he was getting so I decided to suprise him with the shake weight! It was so fun seeing him open it. He was so surprised! He has used it couple times and it really does work! We had a great first Christmas. We were grateful that we were able to spent Christmas with family. We feel so blessed!

 

Zoo Lights!

I was able to go to zoo light this year with my in-laws. It was a lot of fun. Jeff had to work so he wasn't able to come. :( It was so fun looking at lights with the nieces and nephews. Parker wanted to take a picture with the penguin lights for Uncle Fuzzy (Jeff). While we were there Santa came to visit with two of his reindeer. The kids all had fun sitting on Santa's lap except for Brylee. She did NOT like Santa! The picture of Brylee sitting by Santa screaming is my favorite! Jenni and I also got to sit on Santa's lap!

It's the most wonderful time of the year!!

We are excited for Christmas!! It is our first Christmas as a married couple! It was so fun decorating our apartment. We are grateful that Jeff's mom let us use her old Christmas tree. I bought ornaments and lights last year after Christmas so all we needed to do was put it all together! I think our tree turned out cute. The only thing that we didn't have was a tree skirt. I couldn't find one that I liked so I decided to make one. I found cute fabric and Christmas ribbon that I liked and just sewed them together. I think it turned out GREAT!! My favorite decoration to put up every year is my stocking. My mom made my stocking when I was little and I've used to every year since. When a new addition is added to our family my mom makes them a stocking as well. Jeff stocking turned out so good. He is excited to use it this year!
