Texas!

We had the opportunity to go to San Antonio in August to visit Jeff's dad. It was very HOT and HUMID! I don't know what we were thinking! We stayed very busy but had lots of fun! We went to the Alamo, the river walk, Sea World, Six Flags, Schlitterbahn (a huge water park), and some cool caves! While we were there I was also able to sneak away and have dinner with my grandparents, my aunt Candy and my cousins Rachel and Tyler! It was such a fun trip!

The County Fair

I was able to go to the county fair with my family! It was a lot of fun. I was a little obsessed with taking pictures of all the cool rides and all the lights. I love the cool scenery the fair brings! Here is a few of my favorite pictures.

School!

For those of you who don't know I'm going to school to become a Dental Assistant! I LOVE it! I eventually want to continue school and become a dental hygenist. Anyways here is a pictures of me at school. This is the best kind of patient! They don't try to talk to you while you're working on them! :)

It's amazing what you find while cleaning!

I was cleaning when I came across Jeff's old camera that he had when he was on his mission. I was surprised to find some pictures and videos that he had forgotten about. This video made me laugh. This is what missionaries really do! ;) Jeff might kill be when he finds out this is on here, but I couldn't resist!

The Whetstone Campout!

Every year my family goes camping. It is a fun tradition that we look forward to every summer. It's fun to see our family grow each year and to be able to spend time together as a family. I love to see the excitement in the grand kids eyes as they find new things to explore and do while camping! We always leave with wonderful memories and I'm grateful that my parents started this tradition.

Madi is helping Grandpa put the trailer up. She would copy everything that he did.

First attempt at s'mores! I guess she likes them black.

July!

We love July, because it means BBQ, parades, and fireworks! This year the 4th was on a Monday, but we started celebrating on Saturday. Yay! On Saturday we went to Jeff's Grandma's house for a BBQ. It was fun to see his cousins and enjoy some yummy food. On Sunday, Jeff's dad came into town so we spent the day with him. That night we enjoyed a wonderful firework show put on by the bro-in-laws! On Monday, we went to the Layton City parade. This year was extra fun because both of our families came! After the parade, we spent the afternoon with my family. We love being able to spend time with family and are very grateful that we live so close to them. I hope you all had a wonderful Independence Day!

Aubrey and Casen enjoying the show! Casen would clap at all the fireworks!

St. George

The Atkinson family decided to take a trip to St. George, to go see the musical "The Little Mermaid" at the Tuacahn Theater. While they were planning the trip Jeff and I decided due to school and work that we would not be able to go. A week before the trip Jeff's sister found out that she was not able to go which left an extra ticket to the musical. Luckily for me I was able to change my schedule at work and I was able to go!

It's been a long time since I've had to ride in a car for a long distance with little kids. It was an adventure! They are sure cute though!

Parker was happy as long as he had a movie playing!

Brylee just woke up from a nap so she wasn't thrilled that I was taking her picture!

Easton was happy as long as he had a sucker!

 Jenni just enjoying the ride!

The Tuacahn Theater is incredible! They did such a good job. They even cover the stage with water and have a curtain of water run down to the stage to make it look like they are under the sea. I was very impressed! I definitely want to go back! While we were waiting for the play to begin we were taking lots of crazy pictures. My cute niece Aubrey has the cutest expressions.

Ahhh... Ursula is coming!!

Aubrey singing like Ariel

Just being cute!

This is what Ariel looked like the first time she saw Eric!

I think I'm being Sebastien, but I'm not sure why Aubrey looks so scared!

This is Aubrey's Ursula face! This picture is my favorite!

Us just being cute!
