We are having a BABY!

It has taken a long time to get to this point. We had been trying to get pregnant for 18 months. About 8 months ago I switched doctors and went to an infertility specialist. We love our doctor! He was able to find a couple of reasons why I wasn't getting pregnant. We went and saw him on a regular basis and he always gave us lots of hope. In July I had surgery to clean out any endometriosis that I might have. In August I went to the doctors and left a little disappointed because even after the surgery it was looking like my body still wasn't working right. My doctor then set up an appointment in September to go over some fertility treatment options and to start one. I was really worried about all the treatments he had mentioned. As our appointment was getting closer I still hadn't had a period. This is pretty normal for me so I didn't think anything about it. My doctor told me to take a pregnancy test before I came in just in case. I took the first test and didn't even look at it I figured it was negative. After the 3 min I decided I should probably go look at it and it was POSITIVE! I couldn't believe it so I took another one and that one was also positive. I was so surprised!!! When Jeff got home from work he was also surprised and of course so happy!

We feel so blessed! Our prayers were answered in the best way! We are so happy and so excited. My doctor really is the best and he was very excited for us. At our first appointment we were able to hear the heart beat. It was amazing! Our baby is due on May 25, a day before Jeff's birthday.

Vacation!

I'm still playing catch up with my blog. Back in August we took a trip to St. George with Jeff's family. It was lots of fun. We went to the Tuacahn theater to see Aladdin.  I love the Tuacahn. The scenery is breath taking and they do an amazing job with their musicals. They had live camels on stage! They even had a magic carpet that went over the audience. It's awesome!

We also went to a Dinosaur museum that was in St. George. Jeff was very excited to go to the museum. We saw lots of cool Dinosaur foot prints and skeletons.

One of the days we decided to drive to Las Vegas. We went to M&M factory and the Coke factory. These are my favorite places to go in Vegas. I think everything else is scary! ;) For lunch we went to Rain Forest Cafe. The scenery at Rain Forest is awesome but the food isn't that great. We also caught a fountain show at the Bellagio. That was cool to watch. Jeff and I have never gambled before so we decided to try our luck at the slot machines. We had been saving $4 just for gambling. We each got to gamble $2. Jeff didn't win anything and I won $6 but then my brother in law Bryce decided to gamble the $6 dollars for me. He lost the $6! It was a fun experience but I don't think I will ever do it again.

Jeff's Birthday!

So I've been a slacker with the blog!  Oh well! I just uploaded a lot of pictures off of my camera so I will slowly update you with fun and exciting things that have happened to us!

I forgot to post about Jeff's Birthday (which was in May) so here are some of the highlights. We went to lunch at Maddox. So yummy! That night we had a BBQ at his mom's house with friends and family. He received lots of cool presents. I made him awesome Angry Bird cupcakes! We love birthdays at my house!

How Does Your Garden Grow?

This year I decided to try to grow some vegetable. I wasn't sure how they would grow in pots but we decided to try it anyways. I planted tomatoes, green peppers and mini pumpkins. The picture was taken right after I planted them which was in May. As of now (July) the pepper are growing good and we even have a few peppers on them. My pumpkin plant was dying but I was able to save it and now it is growing like crazy! My poor tomatoes were attacked by birds and have totally stopped growing. They aren't dead but they aren't growing. I'm still trying to figure out how to save it! I might just have to enjoy tomatoes from my mom's garden this summer.

Kellen & Mekayla

Kellen and Mekayla got married May 5th! We were so excited for them. They got married at the Bountiful temple and it was a beautiful day! The flowers around the temple were perfect! Congrats Kellen and Mekayla!

Lots of Aprons!

I made these adorable aprons for my nieces and nephews to wear while eating. An apron is much better than a bib! They were easy to make but very time consuming. Since my husband works and goes to school full time I had lots of extra time on my hands so I was grateful for something to do.

Beautiful Spring!

"Whenever I hear the song of a bird
Or look at the blue, blue sky,
Whenever I feel the rain on my face
Or the wind as it rushes by,
Whenever I touch a velvet rose
Or walk by our lilac tree,
I’m glad that I live in this beautiful world
Heavenly Father created for me"

Easter Fun!

We decided to dye eggs this year. It was lots of fun and I saw Jeff's creative side. He would put the egg is multiple colors and would end up with very dark but very cool color eggs! To make the night even more exciting we told egg jokes while we were dying eggs. "Egg"citing right?   Here is a few "Egg"cellent Pictures!

Happy 2 Year Anniversary!

I can't believe it has already been 2 years! Time flies! Here is a picture of us driving to Maddox for lunch. YUM!

Meet the Incredibles!

Disney On Ice!

In November I was able to go to Disney On Ice with my sweet niece Anna! It was a lot of fun! We were excited that characters from our favorite movie Tangled where there, but we were kind of disappointed that the Tangled part of the show was so short. Peter Pan was also there which was one of Anna's favorite parts. She thought it was hilarious when the crocodile ate Captain Hook. She is a funny girl! Anna wore her Rapunzel dress and looked beautiful! She insisted that I called her Rapunzel the whole night. I had such a good time hanging out with her for the night!
